Cafe O’Lei at the Plantation If you ever find yourself in Waikapū, there’s this spot tucked inside the Maui Tropical Plantation called Café O’Lei. It’s low-key, but the food? Chefs kiss. 

Da Shrimp Hale keeps it simple. Fresh seafood cooked hot and smothered in house-made sauces that soak into every grain of rice. If you don’t mind being messy and love seafood, hit this place up. 

Sparky’s Food Company Casual spot for local and authentic Hawaiian food, owned by local people who love to give back to the community.

Tiffany’s A local staple for many years, recently being taken over and revamped by Iron Chef and local celebrity, Sheldon Simeon. Amazing local comfort food with relaxed and comfortable sit down dining.

Havens A food truck with my absolute favorite smash burger on Maui. Very close to Costco and the airport. 

La Ploblana Food Truck One of my absolute favorite places to get Mexican food here on island, which is very few, but this place hits the spot. If you’re just landing— or leaving town and want some serious al pastor take a burrito with you on the plane.
